The colored overlay label
is applied directly over manufacturer’s standard face label. The orange or purple
label can differentiate Medfusion 3000 /4000 series pumps for an enteral only pump
to use with dedicated enteral syringes and tubing. May use other colored labels to
identify pumps in other areas, i.e. Respiratory, NICU, Anesthesia! Don’t buy a
different pump for your staff to learn how to use and biomed to repair.
How to Apply
Clean current undamaged pump faceplate. Peel off backing from one side of label
and carefully line up and press firmly to remove bubbles as you apply. When applied
correctly, the new label will not cover the original function keys or display of
original pump.
How to Remove
To remove the colored label you will need a “pick” or tweezers and heat
gun. Use heat gun to warm label to loosen adhesive. BE CAREFUL not to overheat pump
and components. After the label has been warmed, start at a corner using the pick
or tweezers. Once the corner is loose, the label can be carefully pulled by hand
and should come-off smoothly. If you get resistance, then apply more heat. The label
is not reusable.
